Personality:

A ball of endless energy and overflowing cheer, Yumoto can be a little hard to keep up with. He loves anything cute, especially animals, and will cuddle any cute critter he can get his hands on. Usually this winds up being poor Wombat, who receives so many cuddles his fur starts getting thin. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, Yumoto's grades are abysmal. Rather than jealous though, he's readily impressed when En manages a perfect score, even asking if he can keep the graded paper as a memento.

Yumoto takes to almost every task with enthusiasm, from trips to the beach to chores at home to becoming a hero, almost nothing fazes him. Don't expect him to stick with something for very long though, because he has the attention span of a hyperactive toddler. When the defense club is holding a meeting to figure out how to win the school's pretty boy contest, Yumoto checks out about halfway through to play with some paper airplanes. He goes back to helping them later though.

Yumoto had a very sheltered childhood so he's unusually innocent for his age. He doesn't know what a love hotel is and is frustrated and confused when his friends refuse to explain. He's also gullible enough to believe his brother when Gora claims he doesn't know either. Of course he also still believes that their parents are 'on a hot spring tour.' Since he was a toddler. Yeah, it's not hard to trick Yumoto. He himself is a generally forthright and honest person, so he tends to simply assume that everyone else is like that too. This is probably the reason that on the rare occasion that he does attempt to lie, Yumoto is really awful at it.

He's a very social person, making friends easily and enthusiastically, and also getting very attached to anyone he gets close to. He's especially attached to his brother, Gora, who he he both relies on and looks up to. Bonds of friends and family are very important to Yumoto. So much so that he can't stand to see his friends fight. He spent days trying to get En and Atsushi to make up, becoming increasingly frantic until the other members of the club finally helped him. And when Io and Ryuu refuse to even tell the rest of the club what they're fighting about, Yumoto starts engaging in nervous repetitive behaviors. Basically he just does not cope well with conflict among his friends. He's also very sensitive to fights between other people and is very likely to meddle when he sees relatives or friends fighting.

The interesting thing about his tendency to meddle is that Yumoto has a strange sort of wisdom. He tends to grasp the underlying issues that cause people stress and frustration very easily. This allows him to offer insight and advice to people struggling with negative feelings that gets right to the heart of their problem. Of course his tendency to deliver that advice using extended and rambling metaphors. Because the ingredients in oden combine to form the earth so chikuwabu shouldn't feel left out or underappreciated. Trust me, it makes sense.

Abilities:
Truloveraclet- A bracelet that can't be removed(the battle lovers have tried) that allows Yumoto to transform into the Sparkling Prince, Battle Lover Scarlet! Besides the usual physical increases that maho shojo transformations usually grant, (tougher, faster, stronger, etc.) it comes with the standard magical stick which can do a couple of things.
Scarlet Lumiere- A light based attack. Not terribly strong, but it will at least do some damage.
True love Fountain- This is a purification ability. It's used to turn the series monsters back into people.
Strengths: loyal, affectionate, brave, sympathetic, cheerful
Weaknesses: Sheltered, gullible, extremely adverse conflict between friends, short attention span, clingy

God/Shinki: God
Why?: Because he goes too much at his own pace to be a good shinki. Also because it'll be funny.

Sulis- Celtic goddess of hot springs
Aphrodite- Greek goddess of love and beauty
God Type: At first, Yumoto will see himself as temporarily filling in for the dity in question. They can pick things back up once they get back. That said, Yumoto will try to fill his new role enthusiastically and optimistically. Not necessarily successfully, but the most important thing is to try. Right?

Power:
Assuming he gets his first choice, I'd like him to have the equivalent of a second magical boy transformation. In this one he sprouts feathered wings and gains a Romanesque outfit. He can fly this way, but doesn't gain any boosts to things like speed or strength.

What he does get is a bow and quiver of arrows. Some tipped with gold, others with lead. They do no damage, but the gold arrow will produce an uncontrollable longing for whatever the victim first lays eyes on. The lead ones will produce a strong aversion to the first thing seen.

Before you ask, no it doesn't come with magical archery knowledge. And no, Yumoto doesn't know how to use a bow. He better learn fast. The effects of the arrows do wear off eventually. (ie, whenever players of affected characters want them to. And don't worry, I will definitely ask permission oocly first.)
